NOVEMBER EMPLOYEE OF THE MONTH

PAT LEHMAN ~ CONCIERGE
Meadow Brook Senior Living

NOVEMBER EMPLOYEE OF THE MONTHMeet Pat Lehman, our November Employee of the Month! Pat, who was born and raised in Illinois, has been with Meadow Brook Senior Living in Fishers, Indiana, for over 6 years as their Concierge.

Pat was happily married to her husband for 57 years before he passed away in 2013. She loves “relaxing and visiting with friends” when she isn’t hard at work at Meadow Brook. She also enjoys decorating, her self-proclaimed hidden talent, in her free time.

“The residents themselves are the most rewarding part of my job,” said Pat. “I love the dinner hour when I can greet them and chat for a few moments! I just love working here. I enjoy my job so much; the staff are awesome to work with!”

She went on to say that her most memorable experience at Meadow Brook came from Mae, a former resident. “Mae considered me to be a trusted friend, which meant the world to me. I was able to be with her on the day she passed away.”

When asked why she chose to honor Pat with Employee of the Month, Allie Satterfield, Community Relations Director said, “You don’t pick Meadow Brook for the building itself; you pick us for the people who make up our team. Pat is one of those people. Her warm and welcoming demeanor make it easy to call Meadow Brook home. She treats everyone who walks through our door like family. She continually pours into those around her, always bringing a smile to resident and staff faces who might be having a hard day. Thank you, Pat, for bringing joy to our community!”

Teresa Glidden, Meadow Brook’s Interim Executive Director, echoed Allie’s comments by saying, “Pat was one of the first people to welcome me to Meadow Brook. She intentionally made me feel a part of the team here. I love watching her interact with residents and family members. She always goes out of her way to make everyone feel included and appreciated. At the end of the day, no matter how the day progresses, I always know a hug from Pat will be waiting for me.”
